Going Green Is Everyone's Responsibility!

Global warming has spurned a great debate – just who is responsible for the rise in temperatures? Is it just a cycle that occurs naturally, or is humanity to blame? Regardless of which side of the debate you rally around, you can still be aware of the environment that you live in and strive to protect and maintain it. The old adage of leaving things better than when you found them is always a good rule to live by. You can make a difference by taking little steps now around your house – these suggestions are all very manageable and have low or no cost, so start today!

1. Save energy. Install water efficient showerheads in your bathroom to cut down on water usage, and wash clothes in cold water as much as possible (this will cut down on the energy used to heat the water). Also adjust your thermostat to a few degrees lower in the winter and a few degrees higher in the summer. Lastly, install compact fluorescent light bulbs and unplug appliances when you are not using them.

2. Recycle and recharge. Use rechargeable batteries and recycle them when they have reached the end of their life cycle.

3. Leave the car at home. Not everyone can walk or bike to work; however, taking an option to telecommute if possible is one way to save on gas. Also consider carpooling with coworkers.

4. Skip bottled water. Consider buying a water filter to purify your tap water instead of buying bottled water at the store. Use hard plastic, reusable water bottles instead of the soft plastic disposables.

5. Use non-toxic cleaning supplies. Typical household items such as baking soda, vinegar, lemon, and soap are non-toxic, very effective cleaners.

These are just simple, low cost ways to care for the environment in which you live. The earth as we leave it is a legacy for our children. Let’s make sure they have something worthwhile to inherit.

Our days are comprised of a series of choices from the time the alarm clock goes off in the morning (Do I get up, do I hit the snooze button, or do I shut the alarm off and forget the whole thing?) to the time we hit the sheets at night.

Most of these choices are affected by two commodities that always seem in short supply - time and money. If you don't think so, consider your next vacation. If time and money were not factors, where would you go? How long would you stay? It certainly would be fun to plan that trip.

Learn Four Simple Steps That Will Guarantee The Success Of Absolutely ANY Internet Business You Start!

Getting Started With Your Online Business!

1. Find a Niche Market: A niche market is a small group of people who share a common interest or problem, and who can be easily located.

For example, "pet owners" is NOT a niche market - you're talking about too many people. On the other hand, "golden retriever owners in Seattle, WA" is definitely a "niche." Their interest is very specific (not just pets, but golden retrievers), plus they're easy to find.

Remember: The more specific your market, the easier it will be to tailor your marketing messages directly to them.

2. Develop a Product or Service that Your Market Wants: Once you've defined your niche market, find out what they're ALREADY looking for. It's easier to sell people something they have already expressed a need for!

Learn what their problems are:

• Do they want to save time?
• Are they trying to save money?
• What information are they looking for?
• What questions are they asking?

Remember: Help them, don't sell them!

3. Automate Your Business: Automating your business gives you a "time" advantage many site owners neglect because they're afraid to let go of daily chores.

Unfortunately, if you don't automate early, your days quickly become consumed by routine chores that severely handicap your income.

You're so busy RUNNING the business,
you don't have time to GROW it!

By automating early in your growth cycle, you won't be left scrambling to put a second-rate system in place once you DO get busy.

Remember: Automate early, and automate as many aspects of your business as you possibly can!

4. Pursue Multiple Steams Of Income: Once your business is running on autopilot, you can start adding new profit streams to the mix... or even start another online business.

This will provide you with multiple streams of income to fall back on if there is a shift in your industry.

Start with a profit stream that's easy to run and automate, and with a market that's easy to target. Then, do it again. If one profit stream ever fails, the loss will be minimal compared to the larger profit pool!

My First Attempt at Blogging...a Brief Personal Introduction

Who Is Curtis Toombs?

Hello, my name is Curtis Toombs, from Fort Worth, TX. I'm a Vietnam era Veteran (so that tells you I'm an old fart!), I proudly served 7 years in the U.S. Navy as a young man out of high school and experienced a lot of life in a short time...had to grow-up fast! Anyway, I wouldn't trade those life experiences for nothing.



I am married to my lovely wife Sandra, 10 years this Aug 14, 2009. I am a former Firefighter, employed by the Department of Defense (DOD), former Texas State Investigator for Child Support Enforcement, Ex-Self Employed Private Investigator and now turned Network Marketer and Online Business Success Coach. Although I liked being self-employed, I really like making money more, and none of my previous J.O.B.'s satisfied that need. That's why I'm doing what I do.



I love to help and teach people how to make money in their home businesses, whether it's internet marketing, multi-level marketing & networking or an offline business.
